As you may have heard, the ITM New Zealand Sail Grand Prix (SailGP) will be taking place in Auckland on 18-19 January 2025. This is exciting news for Auckland and the boating community.
The specific event details and how this will impact the marina are still being finalised. SailGP and the relevant council organisations are working together to determine the on-water racecourse and on-land venue for the event. At this stage, it is planned for the on-land venue to be located on Wynyard Point in the Wynyard Quarter.
